Zusatzmodule Additional Tools

Additional, optional modules extend the functionality of XPace and open XPace planogramming for extended purposes.

Custom design of fixtures and displays

In case of advanced need for custom fixtures and displays, exceeding the XPace standard library content, the XPace Mockup module enters the equation. It is used to generate components from three-dimensional model descriptions, define the behavior patterns for product arrangement and assembly, create parts lists, specify anchor and grid points, and create positioning spaces.

Virtual Shops and Environments

Quick definition of standard scenarios: Wall-mounted shelving, central gondola, pallet and lattice box, wooden shelving, heavy-duty shelving.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Queries” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]

Assortment planning using queries

XPace queries are used to execute selections on product data sources, using XQL/XQuery queries with conditions, sort criteria and result set restrictions. The query results are stored in shopping baskets and assortments and are used to set up and restructure planograms based on data.

Kiosk systems and info terminals

A kiosk system is an interactively operable POS interface for touch control, with product information, used for calling up product evaluations, for customer search and navigation systems and for controlling ordering processes and logistics systems. XPace Kiosk is the module that can be used to supply such systems with data from planograms.

Article localization in stores

To provide information terminals in stores with data that allows consumers to quickly find items in the outlet, localization data must be provided for items at the POS. This data is also indispensable for a radius search on mobile devices. XPace planograms can carry a geolocalization of the shelf and generate position information for each product in the form market – aisle – shelf – floor – position. The XPace Locate module makes this data available in GIS standard formats and integrates POS planning data into market-related product search systems.

Automated processes in planogramming

Many processes in planogramming can be automated. With the XPace Scripting module, macros can be programmed and rules formulated that carry out standardized processes, right up to completely automated shelf loading. Examples include complete assembly from an Excel assembly proposal, multi-reporting macros and automatic shelf conversion with assortment and balance lists based on rules.

Control of internal company processes

In order to be able to use planogramming data in other areas, the XPace Integration module provides functions that trigger follow-up processes in ERP systems, merchandise management, order management and label printing and provide space management data for them.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Forms” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]

PDF forms

Interactive forms based on PDF can be used to implement integrated data acquisition, e.g. for new product creation. Data can be entered locally and on mobile devices; the XPace Forms module then processes completed forms automatically.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Metadata” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]

Planogram metadata management

The metadata of planograms is important for descriptive purposes and for selection and assignment criteria, especially in interaction with external partners. The module also contains a release and blocking procedure for planograms.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Material” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]

Management of component instances

In special contexts, lifecycle management of each individual, concrete shelf component is desired. The XPace Material module looks at component instances – beyond the usual component types – and manages their origin and whereabouts, repairs, costs and accident prevention audits.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Elastics” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]

Elastic deformation of product carriers

An increased weight load on fixtures leads to elastic deflections. Due to the attached product weight, a hook may sag far downwards and collide with articles and hooks of a row directly below. XPace Elastics calculates these deformations and takes into account the additional space required.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Mandator” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]

Multi-client capability

Mandator management and use of separate datasets according to client.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Simulation” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]

Sales simulation

Using an animation of the shelf over a defined period of time, this module simulates the forecast sales and the shelf stocks in fast motion and identifies any stock gaps.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Transactions” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]

Transaction control

Direct control of XPace functions using transactions.

[/service] [service title=”XPace Primantic” icon=”icon: dot-circle-o” icon_color=”#61a05b”]
